Snuff is the thirty-ninth Discworld novel, and the last to star Sam Vimes and the Ankh-Morpork City Watch, though it is mostly set outside Ankh-Morpork. It introduces goblins to the Discworld. A tie-in book based on the one read by Young Sam in this novel, The World of Poo by Miss Felicity Beedle, was published the following year.
