Diggers is a standalone novel set in Victorian London. It follows the expoits of “Dodger”, a tosher (sewer scavenger) caught up in high society adventure after he aids young woman in distress and meets notable philanthropist Charles Dickens. The novel features characters inspired by Victorian-era fiction, most notably the works of Dickens himself. Many of the characters clearly serve as inspiration for the fictional Dickens's stories.
