The Glorious 25th of May is the day commemorated in Ankh-Morpork by survivors of the People's Revolution of the Glorious Twenty-Fifth of May, as depicted in Night Watch. Rob Wilkins revealed via Twitter that he chose the date when Terry asked him to find something that wouldn’t offend anyone, and he chose Paul Weller’s birthday.[1]
