The Science of Discworld series are four Discworld books in which the Wizards of Unseen University accidentally create and then explore "Roundworld", a universe in a bottle that runs without magic - and where humans evolve on a spherical world they call Earth. Each book alternates between fiction chapters by Pratchett, and science chapters by Ian Stewart and Jack Cohen, which (usually) explain the science behind the phenomena encountered by the wizards in the fiction.

Books

The Science of Discworld series comprises four books:

The Folklore of Discworld is sometimes grouped with these books, but it contains no new fiction and doesn't follow the same format.

Adaptations

The Science books have only been adapted as audiobooks, where the fiction chapters are read by Stephen Briggs and the non-fiction chapters by Michael Fenton-Stevens.
