The Industrial Revolution books are a fan-categorisation of a subset of the Discworld series, including those which highlight the advancement of technology and society in Ankh-Morpork under the rule of the Patrician. Some fans instead refer to the “Ankh-Morpork series”, which is a little broader and includes some books not included below. The most recent Penguin editions of the novels categorise the books into non-overlapping series, and use the term “Industrial Revolution” to refer exclusively to the three books starring Moist von Lipwig.
