The Glorious 25th of May
The Glorious 25th of May is the day commemorated in Ankh-Morpork by survivors of the People's Revolution of the Glorious Twenty-Fifth of May, as depicted in Night Watch.
On Roundworld, the 25th of May has become a day of celebration of Terry Pratchett and of supporting Alzheimer's research, marked by wearing lilac, as the characters in the book do. (It is also Towel Day, and celebrating both is not uncommon.) As a result many Discworld podcasts have produced special episodes on May 25th, which are listed here.
