Guidelines
(Guildlines?)
- State the purpose clearly
- This is for indexing and cross-referencing podcast and other recap/discussion shows (primarily) about Pratchett
- We don't want to double-up or supplant existing resources like the L-Space wiki or APF, but supplement them (so the podcasts page there would remain but be streamlined and linked to here, and we'll make liberal use of inter-wiki linking for characters and places and so on).
- Intended to make it easy for listeners to find podcast episodes, podcasters to find and contact each other, etc.
- Set some boundaries on what is and isn't included here; e.g. only basic book data, no annotations etc
- No sales links, only book data to help you order from a local bookshop
- Would definitely like to include non-English podcasts/channels if any exist; will keep looking
Style Guide
- Decide on format for episodes
Info boxes
- Add separate info boxes for hosts and guests?
- Customise/replace info boxes for books and podcasts (see below).
Books
- Add an external links section with specific spaces for L-Space wiki, Wikipedia and APF links;
- Add a "co-author" line (but keep primary author line, since we will end up with some non-Pratchett books)
- Add navigation box for books - use Wikipedia format where all books are listed for quickly navigating between them
