Rhianna Pratchett is a writer best known for her work in videogames, especially the modern Tomb Raider series, and the Overlord series of comic fantasy games. She is best known to Discworld fans as the daughter of Terry Pratchett, and as co-owner of Narrativia, the company which controls the media rights to Pratchett’s works. Several of Pratchett’s novels are dedicated to Rhianna, and he based the character of Esk (at least as she appears in Equal Rites) on her.

Rhianna wrote a screenplay adaptation of The Wee Free Men before Terry’s death, and was given permission to continue the series, but has said there will be no new novels. She has decided to work only on spin-offs, adaptations and tie-ins.[1] Her first published Discworld work will Tiffany Aching’s Guide to Being a Witch, co-authored with Gabrielle Kent.[2]
