{{WSTV}} is a six-part traditionally animated 1997<ref>Sources differ on when it was first broadcast, but it preceded {{WSTV}}, which probably places it in May or June of 1997.</ref> television series adapting {{WS}} and originally broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK. It was developed by Acorn Media, and produced by Channel 4, Cosgrove Hall Films (who had previously made {{TTV}}), ITEL, and Ventureworld Films. It was followed by another adaptation from the same team, {{SMTV}}, in which [[Christopher Lee]] returns to star as [[Death]].
