It was developed by Acorn Media, and produced by Channel 4, Cosgrove Hall Films (who had previously made {{TTV}}), ITEL, and Ventureworld Films. It was followed by another adaptation from the same team, {{SMTV}}, in which [[Christopher Lee]] returns to star as [[Death]].&lt;br /&gt;
