			{{TFE}} is the twenty-fourth Discworld book, and the fifth novel about the [[The Watch\|the Ankh-Morpork City Watch]]. It begins a tradition of the Watch books focussing more on Vimes than on the Watch as a whole, though notably in this book [[Carrot]] and [[Angua]] have a major subplot. It continues an exploration of Überwald that began in {{CJ}}, this time with werewolves rather than vampires, and also explores more of dwarf culture.
